MSF eCourse

As part of the Basic Rider Course, students are required to complete the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's eCourse. The cost of this course is included in the tuition.

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic eCourse is a highly interactive online program that provides riders of all skill levels with the basics of motorcycling. With integrated graphics, photos and video to help better illustrate the lessons, the program allows you to control the pace of your learning.

The eCourse takes approximately 5 hours to complete from start to finish. You do not have to complete the entire course at one sitting. You can leave and come back as often as you wish. The program will pick up where you left off.

Upon completion of an MSF eCourse, you will be able to print a completion certificate that is valid for 30 days. The eCourse must be completed within 30 days prior to the class start date. If you have completed an eCourse more than 30 days before the class start date, you must re-take the eCourse (you can re-take it for free) by logging in and checking the "Start new attempt" checkbox.

Once registered in a MOST class, you will be emailed a secure link to access the eCourse free of charge. You can also take the class as a stand-alone module by paying the fee on the MSF website. However, you will not be refunded the cost of the eCourse if you later decide to take the MOST class.

Minimum System Requirements for eCourse:

•Internet connection: Broadband connections work best. The MSF eCourses are video intensive.
•Browser support: Current versions of Chrome, Safari and Firefox are all supported. For Internet Explorer, version 10 or above is supported.
•Be sure JavaScript is enabled on your browser.
•You will need access to a printer at the end of the courses to print a completion certificate.
